US President Trump backs Boris Johnson as next British prime minister

US President Trump has said former British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson would be an "excellent" choice as the next prime minister of the UK. The US president went on to express confidence that he would receive a warm welcome in Britain, despite the protests that are expected to accompany his visit.
